Frederick A. Browne MD MBA is the Vice President of Medical Affairs and President of the Griffin Faculty Practice at Griffin Health Services, Derby CT. Dr. Browne completed fellowships in Infectious Diseases, Medical Microbiology and Epidemiology at Yale University School of Medicine. He performed his residencies in Internal Medicine and Anatomic/Clinical Pathology at Pennsylvania State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.
Dr. Browne is also a graduate of University of New Haven where he received a Masters of Business Administration. He is currently a student in the Master's of Population Health program at Jefferson University and a Professor at Sacred Heart University where he teaches Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. In 2011 he was recognized as one of the Modern Healthcare Up and Comers and has recently received professional Fellowship recognition from The Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America and The American College of Physicians. Dr. Browne's clinical roles include oversight of the Griffin Hospital Infusion Center and Readmission Prevention clinic as well as patient care roles in Hospitalist Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
